Macquarie University Rugby Club competes in the NSW Suburban Rugby Competition (Subbies Rugby).

As a relatively young club with deep university roots, we’re proud to have a mix of past and present students alongside a huge group of local players from across Sydney.

You don’t need to be a Macquarie student to join: whether you're an experienced player, returning to the game, or trying rugby for the first time, everyone is welcome at MURFC.

Based at the Macquarie University Sports Fields, we’re fortunate to have access to some of the best fields and facilities in Sydney Suburban Rugby.

Rugby is only part of the experience. From New Beacons Night, Ladies Day, Old Boys Day, and our annual Pub Crawls, there’s always something happening around the club.
