Coaches comments: We unfortunately came into the 2nd round with a long injury list. Despite this, the 2nds dug deep throughout the entire match, even scoring a try in full-time as evidence. We showed a great defensive effort where our constant pressure forced many turn overs, but issues in our attacking play meant we weren’t able to secure enough points for the win. Coaches comments: The slew of injuries also meant many changes to the 1sts team, and the compositional changes really affected set pieces and our ability to setup our attacking platform.
